Uppercase Living Helped Me Fake Upscale Decorating | Jessica Knows
Let me put it to you this way. I haven’t gotten to the point in my life where I can hire a professional decorator. I’m pretty proud of what I’ve done with my house so far - DIY-style. We’ve got a mix of new furniture (well, new since we were married 5 years ago) and family heirloom pieces. I think I’ve done a pretty good job of choosing paint colors and coordinating it with the furniture and upholstery. I even transformed our dining room into an “Imagination Room” complete with chalkboard/magnetic walls and my son’s artwork prominently displayed. This is the room where we keep our son’s toys and there is a dining room table - we just use it for crafts and projects.
